Princeton, New Jersey - May 5, 2003 - The redesigned New Jersey Transit Web site continues to win more awards for the designers and developers at Princeton Internet Group, Inc. (PInG). PInG recently received a 2003 Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards, an international competition honoring excellence in communications.

In order to help NJ Transit implement its digital strategy, PInG redesigned the overall look and navigation and implemented a major functionality upgrade. The highly improved Web site now provides such functionality as a wireless travelers advisory notification feature and a personalized traveler information center known as "My Transit." PInG redesigned the NJ Transit Web site to provide NJ Transit users/customers with a personalized, complete solution for easy and efficient access to NJT information and services and to serve as an example of the possibilities of applying Internet technology innovation and design to the transportation industry.

When NJ Transit first retained PInG for services, it was under the premise that PInG could deliver an awarding winning Web site to NJT. PInG responded by delivering a Web site that would go on to win not one or two awards, but eight (8) awards to date, from a prestigious list of competitions, with more awards pending.
