2002 A Winning Year for PInG - Company Garners Record Number of Awards for Superior Design and Performance Princeton Internet Group (PInG) is celebrating 2002 as its "winningest" year to date. PInG was honored with 18 awards in 2002 for its superior design and programming accomplishments. These awards have served to validate PInG's approach and have provided a great promotional and public relations boost for PInG, its clients, and the solutions borne of their collaboration. PInG was also awarded numerous significant contracts for interactive design and development, making 2002 a year in which the company was recognized by colleagues and clients alike as a winner. "To have won so many awards, not just for great Web design, but also for the way our sites and solutions perform for our clients is truly gratifying," said Rob Freda, Director and Founding Partner of PInG. The company and many of its projects were recognized in local, regional, national and international competitions throughout the year. Once again, PInG dominated the local/regional award scene by bringing home numerous awards from the NJ Communications, Advertising & Marketing Association (CAMA), NJBIZ and Philly Gold competitions. PInG also expanded its recognition within the National and International awards frontier and was flattered to receive critical acclaim from such prestigious organizations as: the Communicator Awards, Web Marketing Association, Galaxy Awards, Inova Awards, Omni Intermedia Awards and Golden Web Awards. The diverse categories for these awards included "Best Professional Services site", "Best Financial Services site", "Best Interactive - On-line", "Website Design, B2Consumer-Transaction Capable", and "Best Institutional Website", and "Logo Design", to name a few. PInG also earned numerous significant Web development contracts in a year that many Web development companies did not survive. New initiatives for NJ Transit, Liz Claiborne, Roche, Orchid Biosciences, ETS, Environ Holdings Corporation, and Princeton University have furthered PInG's reputation as a provider of innovative development solutions that work across a variety of industries, platforms and target audiences. "Of particular significance was an increase in demand for customized solutions that featured PInG's advanced capabilities with Flash and Content Management Systems", noted Freda. "These are two areas that we take great pride in. Our thorough understanding of their unique applicability in the context of each project allows us deliver solutions that are both time and cost effective." PInG heads into its eighth year in business having eclipsed its previous record of 14 awards in a year, set in 2001, and they are already on track to push the "accolade envelope" further in 2003, something that both PInG and its clients welcome with open arms. Freda added, "A significant portion of PInG's new business has come from clients who were dissatisfied with their existing Web site or intranet/extranet, and driven by a desire to put world-class, award-winning solutions in place." PInG's experience and expertise in digital technology applications assist companies in their abilities to utilize Web-based technology to enhance financial results, manage operations more efficiently, create brand awareness and build market share.
